Why we need itWe need to know your basic personal data in order to provide goods and services, process orders, provide you with up to date information about gate safety, and contact you in regards to gate servicing. We will not collect any information that we do not require. It is a condition of CE approvals and UK HSE guidelines that all automated gate systems are regularly service and maintained by authorized personnel. Failure to comply with these guidelines may leave you liable towards any accidents or incidents. As it is our duty of care, once our gates have been installed, we will email you with recommendations on how to optimise and sustain the life of your gates . If you wish to stop receiving emails in regards to service and maintenance, the customer has the right to opt out at any point. If a service contract has been taken out, we will contact you before the current contract expires. Again, you will be given the option to opt out of receiving contract renewal emails.
How long we keep itWe will only use and store personal data for as long as it is required. How long Information is stored depends on the information in question and what it is being used for. We will store payment / financial information in regards to the relationship between yourselves and HTC, but as we do not use card as a payment method, we will not require or store card payment details.
Accessing, Modifying or Deleting DataYou have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data. HTC reminds you that you have the opportunity to lodge a complaint to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), the UK supervisory Authority for data Protection issues, if you are not satisfied with how your data is handled, or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law.
